A liquor superstore was looking for a low-profile carrying solution for their TC5X with exoskeleton scanning devices. Employees in the stores often updated tags on the shelves while using their mobile computer, so storage space to hold price tags and any other accessories was also needed.

UltimaCase met the customer’s needs by designing a slim holster that didn’t obstruct employees’ everyday actions at work, but easily held their device securely to the person. An elastic mesh pocket at the front easily holds tags so the employee can work hands-free, which can also be used to store any other accessories such as an extra battery.

The original case created for the customer had a cell clip for attachment to the belt. A cell clip easily rotates for maximum flexibility. Still, the customer wanted a less mobile belt attachment that would only rotate when the user adjusted it themselves. UltimaCase updated the back attachment to a belt clip instead that can be rotated when needed by the user, but stays/clicks in place otherwise. This perfectly suited the customer’s requirements, and the employees can now go about their day with ease and increased productivity.
